PET STRAP (POLYESTER STRAP) is recognized as a new environmental strapping material to substitute for Steel Strap & PP Strap, because it has more advantages than other straps, such as Good Tensile Strength, Superior Elasticity, Good Elongation, Better Temperature Resistance, Excellent Rusty Resistance, Alternative Colors, Easier Operation, and Extreme Safety & Economy etc. PET straps are widely used in many different areas of industry, such as wood industry, paper industry, motor parts, electronics，glass industry, Aluminum industry, Magnesium industry, Steel industry, Brickkiln industry and so on.

The features of PET:

1. Economy: The density of Steel Strap is 7.8g/cm³ , but PET Strap is only 1/6 of it(the density of the PET strap is between 1.30-1.38g/cm^３),so it is much cheaper than Steel Strap.

2. Excellent strength: PET combines the intensity of Steel strap with flexibility of PP strap and overcomes the defects of traditional packing materials. It can keep 7%-16% tensile force for a long time, so it can be widely used in the filed of heavy packages.

3. High safety: Being without sharp edge, the PET strap is safer than Steel strap, so it will not damage the packed goods and your hands.

Strong adaptability: Steel strap gets rusty easily when being revealed in the air, for it absorbs moisture. Rust is easy to contaminate the packaged goods, for it possesses strong permeability. It has excellent climate-resistant. And its sizing permeability can be remained good under the temperature between –50℃ and 60℃, and its melting point is between 255℃ and 260℃.
